Charity Activities
During the Advent and Christmas season, in response to the Parish Priest’s call, the community of Blessed Anrê Phú Yên Parish generously supported a charitable effort to help poor leprosy patients in Vietnam, who are cared for by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Lovers of the Holy Cross.
On April 17, 2026, the Congregation received a donation of $14,000 from the parish community. In their letter of thanks, the Sisters shared that this gift will be used to provide food, medical care, and basic livelihood support for leprosy patients in the areas where they serve.
We are also sharing the Sisters’ letter of gratitude and some photos so the community can see how the donation is being put to use and join in giving thanks to God for the beautiful fruits of charity, love, and generosity.

Ct. St. Clementine #821 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas is pleased to announce that the 2026 Ligia Taylor Memorial Scholarship winner is Sloane White of Wilmington. Sloane will be attending Austin Prep in Reading this Fall.
The Court was also pleased to present an additional award The Patricia Leavens Collegiate scholarship given by The Catholic Daughters of Massachusetts. The scholarship was awarded to Zayla Astacio, granddaughter of Anita Fusco! Zayla will be studying Interior Design this Fall at Bunker Hill. Congratulations! |

First Holy Communion Class 2025 - 2026
This weekend, our parish will have 21 children, dressed in their finest clothes, happily receiving their First Holy Communion. In this Holy Mass, let us give thanks to the Lord for the blessings He has bestowed upon us over the past years, and for today granting us the gift of 21 little angels. The children will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation the day before, under the guidance of our Pastor Francis Huy Pham and the teachers who have been with them throughout the past months, and with the support of their parents.
Let us pray together that these children may always remain faithful to their faith, and that they may prepare their hearts to be as pure as the garments they wear today, so that they may be worthy to receive the love of Jesus through the Holy Eucharist whenever they participate in the Holy Mass.

ORDINATION MASS Nov. 22, 2024 The ordination mass was held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Dalat Cathedral-Vietnam. Bishop Dominic Manh Nguyen - Bishop of the Dalat Diocese - presided over the Ordination Mass for 22 priests. Among them is Father Vincent Nguyen, who helped our parish for 2 years during his time studying at St. John's Seminary in Boston.
